RFKC Sacramento #443

Sacramento Chapter Directors

Hosted by Real Life Church, our chapter is a revival of an RFKC that once was.

Our Directors, Josh and Isela Childress are veteran RFKC volunteers of the long running Kern County Chapter, having served in multiple capacities including the director role there. Eventually relocating to Sacramento, Josh & Isela have brought the same passion and commitment to serving foster children and their families, via a carefully curated, trauma-informed summer camp.

Get Involved

Our team is made up of many hands from all ages, stages, walks, and talents of life. From part-time, at home help, to full-time at camp staff - if you are interested - we need you!

We offer a quality of service that is the standard for children in foster care but very difficult to achieve in most settings. Dont let that scare you! We will train you and send you on this mission, fully equipped to engage and encourage children from hard places…skills which are transferable and life changing.

Events

It costs $40,000 to operate Royal Family KIDS Camp in Sacramento each summer. In order to make that goal, we host and attend a handful of fundraiser and community awareness events throughout the year. While some events are public and aimed at fundraising and raising awareness, others are private and for campers and their guardians, only.
